In this article, we will learn how to install WordPress on the Vultr Cloud platform in a few clicks.

Install WordPress on Vultr Cloud with a Few Clicks
If you want to install WordPress on the Vultr Cloud Platform in order to create a blog or business website, go here. A few clicks are then required to install the WordPress CMS.
Click Deploy Instances
Click “Products” then “Deploy Instance or The Plus Sign” to deploy an instance, as illustrated in the image above, after signing up for the Vultr Cloud Platform.
Choose Server and Location
Now, select the server and location. The Vultr cloud provides four distinct server types. You must choose a server that meets your requirements. In this tutorial, I created a WordPress portfolio site. Therefore we need minimum requirements and select “Cloud Compute.”
Now the next step is selecting Server Location, so keep in mind that you should always select a server location that is close to or in the same region as your target audience.
Select Server Type
Now select “Server Type,” install virtual images of the operating system, and then manually install WordPress and the core databases.
As depicted in the figure above, you must click “Application” and then select WordPress from the list of available web apps.
Select Server Size or Plan
The next step is “Server Size,” where you’ll select the optimal plan for your needs. I have established a WordPress Portfolio site. Therefore we do not want a large amount of storage or a powerful CPU. Thus we go for a $5 per month plan.
Select Additional Features
Some “Additional Features” such as IPv6, Automatic Backups (for a fee), and Private Networking. If you require them, you can activate these functionalities.
Add SSH Key
SSH Keys this is a crucial component. You must generate an SSH Key for your virtual machine, and if you need to connect to the command line of your virtual machine from another computer, you can do so easily.
Add Host Name
Now add your own “Server Hostname or Label.” We are installing WordPress. Thus we add the label WordPress.
Finishing Install
Certain Essential Credentials Needed to Secure Them
After installation is complete, you will be provided with credential information for future configuration. You will receive credentials such as the Virtual Machine Username and Password, the Application Username and Password, and the phpMyAdmin Username and Password. So protect them.
Add Domain Name
Now, the installation of the application is complete. For Name Servers, you must add a domain name in the DNS section.
You must include your domain name and IP address. Copy and paste your public IP address from the Product Dashboard into this field.
Copy DNS Record
After inserting the Domain name and IP address, the Vultr Name Server, CNAME, and A records will be generated. You must copy and paste this information into your Domain DNS management.
Paste DNS record to Domain Registrar
We must copy and paste all of the information provided by Vultr Cloud into our Cloudflare dashboard. You can also paste it onto the DNS management dashboard on your domain.
Post Configuration for WordPress
In this phase, we will configure our website’s details and credentials.
Open your domain name and enter your credentials.
This is an additional security measure. This capability is pre-installed on Vultr cloud’s WordPress application. When you visit the login page (example.com/wp-admin.php), display this authorization prompt. So this username and password we have already got.
This password and username will be provided to you after the installation of your application is complete.
Choose WordPress Language
After logging in, you must now choose your WordPress language and click continue.
Select and Complete the Credentials
Now fill in the site details and select a secure password and username for your WordPress website.
When you click the Install WordPress button, you will receive the following success message.
